In a brand new featurette Hollywood superstar Robert Downey Jr. gives Avengers: Age Of Ultron his seal of approval.
In the new featurette director Joss Whedon and his eclectic cast get to open up about their experience filming this massive and highly anticipated sequel, an experience which Chris Evans referred to as being “just like summer camp”. In addition to a massive scope and more exploration of the wider Marvel Universe, Jeremy Renner promises that audiences will see more of the Avengers together this time around. “In this one we’re together a lot which is great for us, terrible for Joss, because it’s tough to wrangle ten crazy actors that love each other.”
The featurette contains plenty of footage of the cast goofing off on set, and they clearly were having a ball on this one (Whedon referred to this working experience as ‘an exhausting delight’). But it’s RDJ himself who naturally best summed up the on-set atmosphere and the movie itself. “There’s a real sense of unity. This movie is incredibly fun, and thoughtful, and it’s got my seal of approval.”
Avengers: Age Of Ultron is set to be released in cinemas on April 23.
