Carey Mulligan stands strong and proud in the latest poster for the upcoming film Suffragette.
Utilising the key colours from the Suffragette movement, which relates to dignity, purity and hope, audiences are once again reminded about the importance of seeing this movie.
Yesterday was actually Emmeline Pankhurst Day in the UK, and to celebrate the important occasion, another magnificent poster was released featuring the film’s three leads.
Written by Abi Morgan (The Iron Lady) and directed by Sarah Gavron (Brick Lane), Suffragette stars Meryl Streep as activist Emmeline Pankhurst, while Helena Bonham Carter plays Edith New – a woman who worked tirelessly towards the movement. Carey Mulligan plays a working wife and mother called Maud.
The film will reach theatres on October 30, 2015.
