Hail to the king, baby! Following a very successful premiere event at New York Comic Con 2015 and ravenous interest from fans, Starz has decided to renew Sam Raimi’s Ash Vs. Evil Dead for a second season ahead of its first season Halloween release.

“One season isn’t enough to satisfy the fans’ two-decade-long appetite for more Ash,”, said Carmi Zlotnik, Starz’s managing director, which was distributed by the Hollywood Reporter. “The early fan and press support, along with the international broadcaster demand for more story have made it clear that the adventures of Ash Williams can’t end with season one.”

The news certainly didn’t surprise series star Bruce Campbell who was already positive that the series would get a second season order the minute it was aired.

Ash vs Evil Dead will screen its first episode on October 31, and its first season will run for 10 episodes.
