It feels like an eternity since Bryan Singer and the cast of X-Men: Apocalypse revealed the film’s first trailer to an eager crowd at San Diego Comic-Con. While we had hoped the trailer would drop shortly after the Con, those dreams were left unfulfilled…until now.
X-Men: Apocalypse takes place after the events of Days of Future Past when the world’s first and most powerful mutant, Apocalypse, awakens after thousands of years. Disillusioned with the world, this almighty power recruits a team of mutants to cleanse humanity and create a new world order that he will reign over. With the entire world at risk, Raven and Professor X must lead a team of young X-Men to stop this mighty enemy.
Directed by the one and only Bryan Singer, X-Men: Apocalypse sees many former cast members returning including Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy , Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Evan Peters and Lucas Till. Oscar Isaac has taken on the role of the titular character with Olivia Munn playing fan favourite Psylocke, and Alexandra Shipp playing a young Storm.
Prepare for the ultimate battle between two powerful teams when X-Men: Age of Apocalypse is released in the UK and New Zealand on May 19, 2016, Australia on May 26, 2016 and in the US on May 27, 2016.
