The cryptic new trailer for Hulu’s breathtaking adaptation of Stephen King’s 11.22.63 is here, and it makes one thing very clear: the past does not want to be changed.

Adapted from the Stephen King bestseller, the eight-part miniseries follows history teacher Jake Epping (James Franco) who travels back to 1958 to stop the assassination of John F. Kennedy…a decision which has serious consequences.

The new trailer is frightening in its presence and executive producers J.J. Abrams, Stephen King, Bridget Carpenter and Bryan Burk have not strayed from the horrors that await Franco’s Epping as the past rebels at his attempts to change it. The production detail looks breathtaking and Franco is set to deliver another incredible performance.

What the future holds will be unveiled when 11.22.63 premieres on February 15, 2016.
