The master of controversial comedy breaks every barrier with a new film that puts Borat and Bruno in perspective. Part comedy, part high-intensity action, part drama, Grimsby is a movie that has a little bit of everything – and no one is safe…even Donald Trump.

Sacha Baron Cohen is notorious for creating films that push all the boundaries; but Grimsby is on a whole new level. Nobby (Baron Cohen) is incredibly stupid! It’s the kind of stupidity that is endearing to a point, but totally cringe worthy. He is the mastermind behind an elephant bukkake party, the transmission of AIDS to a few major celebrities and the unlikely hero that will put fireworks in places they should never go in order to save the day.

Nobby’s life is just one mistake waiting to happen after another. And poor thing – he tries so very hard. Like the time he looks like a drunken staggering sidekick following his stealth MI6 agent brother Sebastian (Mark Strong) as fugitives. Grimsby is totally unpredictable and is sure to feel like a triumph for any serious Baron Cohen fan.

However, if Sachon Baron Cohen aka comic genius isn’t enough to get you to the cinema, lets not forget the rest of the incredibly funny cast which includes Mark Stone, Rebel Wilson, Penelope Cruz, Isla Fisher and Daniel Radcliffe. There are so many surprises that will leave you in a state of amusement and shock, and in the passionate town of Grimsby, you almost expect a cameo from Little Britain’s Vicky Pollard, who Rebel Wilson’s character, Dawn, has a striking resemblance to.

Baron Cohen has mastered the fine balance between crafting Nobby as a total idiot (who is a risk to himself AND society) while surprisingly creating some depth to the plot. Specifically, the relationship between long lost brothers Nobby and Sebastian, which is rather heartwarming.

If you’re after a film that has outrageous comedy, drama, suspense, thrilling action sequences and heart, look no further than Grimsby. It is a story that falls far from grace, yet will undoubtedly make you grin at all the Grimsby madness.
