Eva Green is a unique talent in new trailer for ‘Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children’
Tim Burton is bringing his unique storytelling to audiences once more with Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, with major help from its star, Penny Dreadful‘s Eva Green.
Based on the book by Ransom Riggs and adapted to the screen by celebrated screenwriter Jane Goldman (Kick-Ass, Kingsman: The Secret Service), the film follows 16-year-old Jacob Portman (Asa Butterfield), who accidentally finds himself on a mysterious island that is home to a remote orphanage for ‘peculiar children’ run by the eccentric Miss Peregrine (Eva Green).
The new trailer (below) features some magical new footage, including a look inside the time warps that protect the peculiars from the outside world, as well as bringing us face to face with Samuel L. Jackson’s evil ‘wight’ Mr. Barron.
For Burton, Miss Peregrine offers a limitless playground for his unique cinematic vision, and will have audiences old and young flocking to cinemas.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children will be released on September 29 in Australia and New Zealand, and on September 30 in the US and UK.
