Two-time Academy Award winner Tom Hanks is set to return as Dan Brown’s quick thinking puzzle solver Professor Robert Landon in Inferno, but this time the mystery solver has been robbed of his greatest asset: his mind.
After he awakens in a hospital with no memory, Professor Robert Langdon (Hanks), finds himself at the centre of an international manhunt, With the aid of a charismatic doctor (Felicity Jones), Langdon makes his dash for escape, and rushes to stop the release of a devastating plague by a mad man who desires an extinction level event.
The new trailer showcases a lot of new footage, and places its emphasis on Langdon’s memory loss and sensory overload, as well as the international scope of this global chase.
