Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is raising the stakes with the introduction of Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider in the upcoming fourth season.
The character’s involvement was announced during the show’s panel at San Diego Comic-Con today, with the head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb, commenting that season four with bring the “biggest, most ambitious story yet” and that Ghost Rider’s appearance will “change everything”. Set to be played by True Detective‘s Gabriel Luna, Robbie Reyes is the latest character to take on the Ghost Rider mantle in Marvel’s comics, and is different from the version of Ghost Rider most audiences will be familiar with, thanks to the films starring Nicolas Cage
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will return September 20 on ABC.
