Comic-Con 2016 has taken fans by storm, and Cinemax was in attendance to showcase the gruesome new trailer for their terrifying horror series Outcast.

Adapted from the graphic novel series by Robert Kirkman and Paul Azaceta, Outcast follows the story of wayward young man Kyle Barnes (Patrick Fugit) who lives with the daily trauma of having been possessed by a demon and experienced multiple exorcisms as a kid, and who will have to face his demons one more time.

Cinemax is making a name for itself as an innovative production house with the groundbreaking historical medical drama The Knick, and in-your-face crime saga Banshee, under its care.

Outcast‘s new trailer is a genuinely freaky watch, and the show has been so well received by Cinemax that it’s already been put on the fast track for a second season.
