When I think about early 2000s and the shows that made a lasting impression on me, I instantly think about Gilmore Girls. So when Netflix announced last year that it was bringing series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino back to create a four-part revival series, you can imagine I simultaneously screamed and cried at the same time.
We are so close to the release of the long-awaited revival, and now Netflix have dropped a very special featurette, which features snippets of interviews with everyone from Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore) to Liza Weil (Paris).
“There’s so many things that are my favourite about doing this show. But honestly just playing this character is my favourite part,” says Lauren Graham, who played Lorelei Gilmore throughout the shows seven-year run.
Sean Gunn, who played resident weirdo Kirk, seemed to sum up the cast’s thoughts perfectly, saying “I will always hold a very special place in my heart for Gilmore Girls.”
Us too Sean. Us too.
Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life is set to premiere on Netflix on November 25.
