It looks like Disney’s live-action version of Mulan has found a director!

Alex Graves, who has directed episodes of Game Of Thrones, Bloodline and Shameless, will be helming the big budget flick, which is an adaptation of the Chinese legend on Hua Mulan.

The film has been receiving a lot of press as of late due to worries about the film focusing on a white saviour rather than the titular Chinese female warrior. However, those worries were promptly squashed by a source who stated that “Mulan is and will always be the lead character in the story, and all primary roles, including the love interest, are Chinese.”

While we’re stoked that a director of Graves’ calibre will be directing, we’re more eager to find out what lucky star will be taking on the role of Mulan.
