Jeffrey Dean Morgan has caused plenty of chaos so far for Rick Grimes and the rest of the survivors in season seven of The Walking Dead, and now it looks like fans can expect a whole lot more of of his charasmatic but psychotic character Negan.
While on The Howard Stern Show, Morgan confirmed that he will continue to portray Negan through season eight of The Walking Dead. “I know I will be on board for Season 8. We’ve finished [Season 7] a week ago,” said Morgan.
Morgan also confirmed that he’ll have a large presence in the forthcoming two episodes leading up to the mid-season break, after a noticeable absence from recent episodes. “The next two I’m really big in. I’m fucking heavy in those.”
While his performance has been nothing short of terrifying, we simply can’t look away from Morgan’s antics on screen, and we’ve got our fingers crossed that he’ll be awarded for his charisma and intensity come awards season.
