For those who love big hitting action, then The Fate of the Furious is right up your alley.
The new trailer will definitely get your adrenaline pumping, thanks to more explosive car chases and a twist that still has us scratching our heads.
Here’s the synopsis:
Having defeated ruthless mercenary Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) in the events of Fast 7, Dominic Toretto (Vin Deisel) finally has something of a normal life with his wife Letty. But after Dom and his team are pulled into a new mission by DSS Agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson), Dom makes a shocking revelation, and those closest to him are left reeling. With Dom falling deeper into a dangerous criminal underworld, his loved ones unite together to do everything in their power to rescue him from the darkness and put an end to a terrifying new enemy.
Let’s just begin with the fact that the action is on another level here! Not only do we have some insane chase sequences, but the Toretto crew have to contend with fighter planes, computer-controlled cars and a freaking submarine armed with torpedos and cruise missiles. And in the eye of the storm is Charlize Theron’s alpha villain Cipher, a cyber-terrorist who has turned Dom to the dark side.
Director Gary F. Grey is taking the action to an international level not yet seen in the franchise, and in an exciting proposition, we’ll get to see one hell of a race on the dusty streets of Havanna, Cuba. And let’s not forget the inevitable showdown between mortal enemies Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), in what will surely be one hell of a beatdown.
The Fate of the Furious is set to be released on April 13 in New Zealand and Australia, and on April 14 in the US and UK.
