Charlie Hunnam and Jude Law have completely transformed for their upcoming film King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, with two brand new TV spots showing the extent they will go to stop one another.
The Guy Ritchie blockbuster has been a long time coming for fans with the release date having been moved three times. Thankfully the time has almost come for the classic story to be unleashed on audiences once more, though it’ll likely come with those classic Ritchie-isms for effect.
The second clip reveals the extent of evil in Jude Law’s King Vortigern, who is determined to keep Hunnam’s Arthur from fulfilling his destiny.
Here’s the synopsis:
After a young Arthur’s father is killed, Vortigern takes the crown for himself, robbing Arthur of his birthright. But when Arthur pulls the sword from the stone as a man, he begins a journey to take back what’s truly his, and vows to take down his evil uncle.
King Arthur: Legend of the Sword arrives on May 12 in the US and UK and on May 18 in New Zealand and Australia.
