Tom Holland was by far one of our favourite performers in Captain America: Civil War, bringing a naivety and youthful energy that shined on the big screen. This year will see the actor leading the latest standalone Spider-Man film in Jon Watt’s Spider-Man:Homecoming, which is shaping up to be a more hilarious take on the story.
Here’s the synopsis:
Following the fallout of the Avengers, after the conflict between Iron Man and Captain America, teenage superhero Peter Parker finds himself back to square one in Queens, New York. Finding trouble balancing high school life with his superhero antics, Peter soon finds himself confronted by a dangerous new enemy called The Vulture.
Fans have now been given a sneak peek of Marvel’s upcoming blockbuster, which focuses on one particular scene where Peter Parker’s extra curricular activity is discovered by one of his closest friends (Jacob Batalon).
Spider-Man: Homecoming will be released on July 6 in New Zealand and Australia, and on July 7 in the US and UK.
