Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is without a doubt the most anticipated film of 2016, and now leading man Henry Cavill has added to the hype.
At the recent BAFTA LA party, Henry gave an interview to the Daily Mail — and he’s promised some very big things ahead for the two pinnacle characters of the DC Universe.
“It’s Zack Snyder, so it’s going to be a visual spectacle and it’s cinematic history. We’re doing Batman and we’re doing Superman and it’s all happening at the same time so fingers crossed it turns out to be as exciting as I think it is”, said Cavill.
While the star didn’t give up anything on the production, he did end up talking about his working relationship with Ben Affleck, and gave a rather coy answer on whether he offered the megastar any advice or not.
“Um we’re talking about Ben Affleck here, I don’t need to give him any advice. The guy’s a legend, the guy does his own thing, he’s great, he’s fantastic.”
Expectations are very high for Batman v Superman, especially after Cavill’s impressive debut in 2013’s Man Of Steel. The film is also earning buzz thanks to the inclusion of Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman and Jesse Eisenberg’s appearance as Lex Luthor.
