Chris Pratt, Hollywood’s current golden boy, is back in a big way, with a very big movie, and even bigger dinosaurs in Jurassic World, and the lovable rogue has offered us an inside look at his new blockbuster via some very cool featurettes.
In the three featurettes Pratt covers everything from his stunt warm-ups to how to look heroic while riding a motorcycle, as well as Chris Pratt, kind of just being Chris Pratt while on the set of Jurassic World.
Set twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar, now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond (who was played by the late Richard Attenborough). While Owen Grady (Pratt), a member of the park’s on-site staff, conducts behavioural research on a group of Velociraptors, the parks geneticists create a genetically modified hybrid mutant dinosaur, known as Indominus Rex, to boost visitor attendance. But when the hybrid escapes, it plunges the island into chaos, which leads park operations manager Claire Dearing (Howard), and her nephews, Zach (Nick Robinson) and Gray (Ty Simpkins), to become caught up in the melee. Owen and Claire have to work together to stop the creature and escape the island.
Jurassic World is shaping up to be a very worthy successor to Steven Spielberg’s original 1993 blockbuster Jurassic Park, with new director Colin Trevorrow amping up the stakes with new dinosaurs and even bigger thrills. Get ready for a rush, and prepare to run like hell when the park is opened on June 11!
