A brand new featurette for Star Wars: The Force Awakens has just been released as a part of Comic Con Brazil 2015, with director J.J. Abrams, and his cast and crew, talking about the significance of Force Awakens, and how the original trilogy has shaped this new tale.
The new featurette focuses on how cast and crew have worked to continue the journey of Star Wars and reintroduce fans to the magic of a galaxy far, far away. It also showcases some terrific new footage including new star John Boyega when he first saw the Millennium Falcon, along when he got Harrison Ford to sign his Han Solo action figure. Boyega’s co-lead Daisy Ridley also opened up about how excited she was by the chance of joining the family. In a bonus piece of footage, Mark Hamill himself, who so far has been absent from all promotional materials, added that “we’re going back to these stories that people feel intensely about.”
Star Wars: The Force Awakens is set to take the world by storm when it’s released on December 17 in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, and on December 18 in the US.
