The brand new trailer for Ben Wheatley’s dystopian thriller High-Rise is here, and lead star Tom Hiddleston is set for a mind bender of a time.
Hiddleston stars as Dr. Robert Laing, a young physician who finds himself living in the self-contained community of an exclusive high-rise which has been designed by master architect Anthony Royal (Jeremy Irons). But when a dangerous situation develops, chaos ensues, and the residents begin to go insane and become tribal in nature.
Wheatley has proven himself to be a master storyteller over the past few years with brilliant avant-garde work such as 2011’s Kill List and 2013’s A Field in England. With this adaptation of J.G. Ballard’s 1975 thriller, he’s set to make another significant mark as a director. Hiddleston looks particularly commanding on screen as Laing, and will be joined by some wicked co-stars including Sienna Miller and Luke Evans.
High-Rise is set to be released in cinemas in the UK on March 18.
