Filming for the Gilmore Girls revival is underway, with one popular character set to return and make every fan’s day.
According to Variety, Liza Weil will be reprising the role of Paris Geller, appearing in two out of the four planned episodes.
Weil, who currently plays Bonnie Winterbottom in How to Get Away With Murder, played Paris throughout the show’s seven-season run, and was responsible for some killer lines. Paris was the rival and eventual friend of Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel), and attended the prestigious Chilton Academy before attending Yale.
On returning to play the popular character, Weil said “It was like I didn’t realise how much I missed her. It was nice to sort of see an old friend.”
In related Gilmore Girls news, Yanic Truesdale, who played the sarcastic Parisian Michel, took to his Twitter page to reveal the first picture from the set with his co-star Lauren Graham.
