Tom Hardy gets ruthless for ‘Taboo’
The first trailer for FX’s upcoming series Taboo has just dropped, showing English thespian Tom Hardy at his most savage as scorned adventurer James Keziah Delaney.
Taboo follows the story of an adventurer who returns from the heart of Africa in a bid to uncover the reasons behind his father’s death, and the link it has to the powerful East India Trading Company.
Produced in association with Ridley Scott, and featuring the writing of Hardy’s Locke collaborator Steven Knight, Taboo has its gritty, grimy 1814 period detail down to perfection. The brilliant supporting cast includes the likes of Michael Kelly, Oona Chaplin, and Jonathan Pryce.
Taboo is a miniseries that will literally take its audience into the very heart of darkness when it’s released later this year.
