‘Deepwater Horizon’ offers a powder keg of tension
Hollywood superstar Mark Wahlberg is re-teaming with Peter Berg for one intense cinematic thrill ride in Deepwater Horizon.
Based on the real life Deepwater Horizon crisis which caused the largest oil spill in US history, the film follows Wahlberg’s everyman engineer Mike Williams, who along with his crew must do everything in a bid to survive this catastrophic disaster.
The trailer definitely offers plenty of thrills, and Berg again demonstrates his genius, splicing William’s home-life with the impending disaster on the rig. For those who like their thrillers hard and fast, Deepwater Horizon definitely has it in spades.
Wahlberg and Berg look to have another masterpiece on their hands and audiences will be in for a very tense ride when Deepwater Horizon hits cinemas on September 30 in the US and UK, and on October 6 in New Zealand, Australia and the UK.
