Jude Law is sure to stir controversy in ‘The Young Pope’
Jude Law is bringing his dark charisma to the heavenly heights of human religion in Paolo Sorrentino’s new event series The Young Pope.
A joint venture from both Sky Television and HBO, this dramatic series sees Law as Lenny Belardo, who has just been elected to the papacy as Pius XIII, the first American to ever hold the position. But this young pontiff is the last person you’d ever expect to hold the office, and now struggles with his new position and his faith.
From the new trailer, Law appears to be holding nothing back as chain smoking Belardo, and will surely shake up the entire Catholic institution with his nontraditional ways.
