It’s on between Bryan Cranston and James Franco in ‘Why Him?’
James Franco is Bryan Cranston’s nightmare come life in the hilarious new comedy Why Him?, which has just dropped its first trailer.
Here’s the synopsis:
After Ned Fleming (Cranston) learns that his beloved daughter Stephanie (Zoey Deutch) is engaged to loud mouthed, egocentric tech billionaire Laird Mayhew (Franco), he does whatever he can to stop her impending marriage. But this only adds fuel to Laird’s fire, and the two end up in a bitter battle of wills.
Franco steals every moment of the trailer, along with Will and Grace alum Megan Mullally who goes from straight-laced mom to party animal thanks to Laird. The trailer also teases some funny cameo appearances from Adam DeVine, Andrew Rannells and Keegan-Michael Key as Laird’s entourage.
Why Him? is definitely a Christmas movie with a twist, and should have audiences in fits of laughter when it is released in cinemas on December 25.
