‘War Dogs’ promises big guns and bigger laughs in new trailer
Big guns and bigger money are all part of the American Dream that Jonah Hill and Miles Teller are striving for in the second trailer for War Dogs.
War Dogs follows the shocking true-life story of Efraim Diveroli and David Packouz, two best friends who were able to secure a $300 million government contract to supply arms for U.S. Allies in Afghanistan. They soon found themselves in danger both at home and in Afghanistan.
The new trailer really throws you into the action of these two wannabes who stumbled into the deal of a lifetime. But when you run guns, you could always catch a ricochet, and that appears to come in the form of Bradley Cooper’s mysterious international criminal, who takes a position as Diveroli and Packouz’s silent partner.
Director Todd Phillips is no stranger to comedy, and his audience will enjoy plenty of laugh thanks to Jonah Hill’s loud mouthed Diveroli, who skirts the line between legal and illegal gun running at every possible opportunity. And the fact that this crazy movie is based on an even crazier true life tale is sure to make it an even more entertaining watch for film fans.
War Dogs will be released in cinemas on August 18 in New Zealand and Australia and on August 19 in the US and UK.
