Life appears at a standstill in ‘T2’ trailer
The lads are back, and it appears life has passed them by in the first teaser for Danny Boyle’s long-awaited follow-up to seminal cult classic Trainspotting, which has simply been titled T2.
The film will catch up with this mad bunch of degenerates that includes Renton (Ewan McGregor), Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), Spud (Ewen Bremner) and the demented Begbie (Robert Carlyle).
Reuniting the original cast with Boyle and screenwriter John Hodge, T2 will incorporate material from Irvine Welsh’s 2002 semi-sequel novel Porno, as well as Boyle and Hodge’s original ideas for these classic characters.
T2 is without a doubt one of our most anticipated films of 2017, and audiences will certainly be in for a shock when the film makes its way into cinemas next year on January 27, 2017.
