Marilyn Manson has been on a path of personal re-invention lately thanks to some terrific work on the small screen, and now the shock rocker is bringing his twisted sensibilities to Salem.
Manson will be stepping into the guest role of Thomas Dinley, Salem’s resident barber-surgeon, who appears to be conducting his own twisted experiments on its inhabitants.
Although the tease is brief, the menace behind this kooky character is real, with Manson swallowing a blood filled leech whole before smiling with a sick sense of glee.
Manon’s role in Salem follows a terrific new artistic direction for the performer, which began with 2015’s The Pale Emperor and lead to TV roles that included violent white supremacist gang leader Ron Tully in Sons of Anarchy, and Peter Pan’s Shadow in Once Upon a Time.
Season three of Salem finds the Devil firmly in control of the puritanical town, and prepared to unleash hell on Earth. That is unless Mary Sibley (Janet Montgomery), and the remaining witches return him to his fiery pit.
Season three of Salem will premiere on October 31, just in time for Halloween.
