Doctor Strange has amassed an enormous fan base since his first appearance in Marvel’s comics in 1963, and is soon to enchant audiences in a much-hyped film adaptation starring Benedict Cumberbatch.
A new featurette has just been released, explaining how Strange comes to acquire his vast powers, giving him a new lease on life.
Featuring interviews with the core cast members, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige also makes an appearance, and discusses the film’s terrifying villains, including Mads Mikkelson’s warlock Kaecilius.
“We’re excited about the villains in this film. These are people that get seduced by what they find on the other side. They’re interested in spilling the barriers between these dimensions, which would annihilate our entire universe,” he shared.
Doctor Strange will be released in cinemas on October 27 in New Zealand and Australia, on October 28 the UK and in the US on November 4.
