‘Doctor Strange’ TV spot invites audiences inside the mystical arts

A new TV spot for Marvel’s Doctor Strange is taking audiences inside the mind-bending journey that awaits its newest hero.

Highlighting the good doctor’s voyage from a materialistically driven surgeon to a mystical guardian, the teaser also offers insight into the fantastical magic of the film and a hint of Strange’s inevitable showdown with Mads Mikkelson’s sorcerer Kaecilius.

The spot also nods to the wider MCU by drawing the distinction between the Avengers’ physical protection of the Earth, and Strange’s journey to protect it from ‘more mystical threats’.

Doctor Strange will be released in cinemas on October 27 in New Zealand and Australia, on October 28 the UK and in the US on November 4.
