It’s far from over for one of horror’s most bloody franchises, which seems to never run out of ways to torture and kill characters.
According to Bloody-Disgusting, production is well underway for Saw: Legacy in Toronto, which is the eighth film in the popular franchise originally created by James Wan (The Conjuring 2) and Leigh Whannell (Insidious).
Stepping behind the camera this time around is Peter and Michael Spierig (Predestination), while the script has been written by Josh Stolberg and Pete Goldfiner (Sorority Row, Piranha 3D, Piranha 3DD).
Two photos that are allegedly from the set have been released on Twitter:

Interestingly, the second photo features a tombstone with the name ‘John Kramer’ who, as fans of the Saw franchise know, was the puppet master behind the scary events (he eventually died in the third film). His grave also appears to be dug up with a coffin oddly placed on the dirt, although there is no available explanation for this at this point. We’ll just have to wait to find out!
