Batman is out for a fun time in new trailer for ‘The LEGO Batman Movie’
When the LEGO Universe is in trouble only Batman can save it….naturally with hilarious results.
A brand new trailer for The LEGO Batman Movie has just been released, and Will Arnett is promising plenty of high jinks and laugh-out-loud comedic moments as he fights to save Gotham City.
Here’s the synopsis:
Feeling displaced and empty Batman goes on a personal journey to find himself, as well as trying to save Gotham City from The Joker’s (Zach Galifianakis) nefarious new plan.
The new trailer is filled with plenty of inside jokes that are sure to resonate with long-time DC fans. Not only is Arnett’s Batman a bit of shut-in, but Michael Cera’s Robin is a little too enthusiastic, and The Joker is suffering from commitment issues and Batman’s ‘cheating’ with other villains. Director Chris McKay also pokes fun at the showdown between Batman and Superman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
In addition to Arnett, Cera and Galifianakis, the film also features the voices of Rosario Dawson as Barbara Gordon/Batgirl, Ralph Fiennes as Alfred Pennyworth, Jenny Slate as Harley Quinn, and Mariah Carey as the Mayor of Gotham.
The LEGO Batman Movie will be released in cinemas on February 10, 2017 in the US and UK and on March 30 in New Zealand and Australia.
