Watch the evocative trailer for yourself here:
Taboo is packed with an intriguing, violent and crazy narrative, and Hardy appears to be channeling a good dose of madness as the embittered and revenge-driven Delaney. He’s a man skilled in the art of violence, and his desire for twisted justice against the East India Trading Company is sure to leave plenty of bodies in its wake.
Taboo’s production design and cinematography are vivid in their detail, and evoke the grime and grittiness of the late 1800s, and viewers will no doubt be sucked into the depths of this dark world thanks to the writing of Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders).
Taboo is set to premiere on January 10.
