2017 is going to be a big year for rising A-lister Jason Momoa, and his latest project, The Bad Batch, will certainly turn heads based on the newly released trailer.
Here’s the synopsis:
Set in a Texas wasteland, a young drifter named Arlen (Suki Waterhouse) is captured by a community of cannibals. While they first only see her as a piece of meat, she soon forms a romantic relationship with the intimidating, yet gentle Maimi Man (Mamoa), and the two hatch a plan to make their escape.
The trailer is certainly an intriguing watch with the tatted up Momoa sporting a meat cleaver as a personal weapon. We also get a look at Keanu Reeves’ ego-driven eccentric known as The Dream, the self-proclaimed mayor of the wasteland who extolls a lifestyle based on unabashed hedonism.
Prepare for a freaky love trip when The Bad Batch arrives in cinemas on June 23.
