Poor Gru! After saving the world, adopting three wonderful daughters and finally finding love, it looks like everyone’s favourite villain-turned-hero is out of a job again. The good news is we get to watch all the drama and hilarity in a new movie, Despicable Me 3.
Here’s the synopsis:
Gru comes head to head with Balthazar Bratt, a former child star who has become obsessed with the character he portrayed in the ’80s. To add insult to injury, Gru meets his long-lost twin brother, Dru, who happens to be more successful than him, and wants to team up with his twin for one last heist.
The first trailer has just been released, promising more cutesy moments from Margo, Edith and Agnes, as well as the hugely popular Minions. Check it out:
Steve Carell has returned to voice both Gru and Dru, while Kristen Wiig is back as his Gru’s now-wife, Lucy Wilde, who we met in Despicable Me 2. Trey Parker of South Park and Book of Mormon fame has joined the voice cast as Balthazar Bratt.
Despicable Me 3 will arrive in cinemas on June 14.
