Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson are ready for one crazy bromance in action-comedy The Hitman’s Bodyguard, which has just released a crazy first trailer.
Here’s the synopsis:
An elite bodyguard (Reynolds) is hired to mind a ruthless hitman (Jackson), who just happens to be his mortal enemy, and deliver him safely to The Hague so he can testify against a terrifying dictator (Gary Oldman).
The new trailer promises plenty of mayhem from out of control car chases to colossal explosions. And then, of course, there’s the developing bromance between Reynolds and Jackson, which brings plenty of R-rated comedy.
Adding to the hilarity is that the trailer is set to Whitney Houston’s I Will Always Love You from seminal action film The Bodyguard…though the circumstances a bit different here.
The Hitman’s Bodyguard will be released in cinemas on August 18 in the US and UK, and on August 30 in New Zealand and Australia.
