But it soon turns out that his job is to protect ruthless hitman Darius Kincaid (Jackson), who just happens to be his mortal enemy. Entrusted to bring Kincaid to The Hague to testify against Vladislav Dukhovich (Gary Oldman), a terrifying dictator, Bryce and Kincaid are soon having to fend off a legion of assassins. What entails is one wild trip where they not only have to survive the assassin’s bullets but each other as well.

The Hitman’s Bodyguard appears to be one crazy ride from beginning to end, packed with hair-raising action and plenty of zany comedy. Reynolds and Jackson’s love-hate relationship looks particularly hilarious, and the film also teases some great cameo appearances from Gary Oldman, as a merciless dictator, and Salma Hayek, as Kincaid’s notorious criminal wife.
The Hitman’s Bodyguard will be released in cinemas on August 18 in the US and UK, and on August 30 in New Zealand and Australia.
