Matthew Vaughn is ready to give audiences an adrenaline rush with the highly anticipated sequel Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The new trailer has just been released and it. is. incredible.
Check it out the slick action below:
Here’s the synopsis:
After a mysterious enemy tries to destroy them, The Kingsman travel to America to join their American counterparts The Statesman. Together these two spy agencies must put an end to a criminal mastermind who has plans to reshape the world in her own image.
Set to a groovy remix of The Who’s ‘My Generation’, the new trailer focuses on the apparent destruction of the Kingsman, and their team-up with American intelligence agency Statesman.
Director Matthew Vaughn has outdone himself with The Golden Circle, which takes the death-defying action scenes of the original and pushes them so much further. Taron Egerton engages in plenty of high-flying gunplay as Eggsy, and there are some wicked new gadgets to salivate over including a rocket launching briefcase and an electrified lasso.
The trailer also focuses on the return of Colin Firth’s Harry Hart, the former Galahad, who despite being shot at point-blank range appears to have survived. Now working with the Statesman, Hart returns to join with his former protege Eggsy. Together the two of them take on Julianne Moore’s demented criminal mastermind Poppy, who is bent on world domination.
Kingsman: The Golden Circle will be released in cinemas on September 21 in New Zealand and Australia, and on September 22 in the US and UK.
