Michael Fassbender confronts pure evil in the chilling new trailer for ‘The Snowman’
The very heart of darkness encroaches upon Michael Fassbender in the adaptation of Jo Nesbo’s terrifyingly twisted cult thriller, The Snowman, which has just released a brand new trailer.
Check it out below:
Here’s the synopsis:
After a shocking murder is discovered with the dawn of the first snow of winter, elite police officer Detective Harry Hole (Fassbender) is tasked to bring the killer to justice. Enlisting the help of driven new recruit Katrine Bratt (Rebecca Ferguson), Hole must connect decades old cold cases to capture a madman and end his reign of terror.
Fassbender looks tense and on-edge as Nesbo’s Detective Harry Hole, a determined and obsessive police officer, who specialises in the study and investigation of serial killers and who has a habit of taking his cases far too personally. The film’s dark subject matter is a perfect fit for Fassbender’s intensity as a performer, and the part of Hole appears to fit the actor like a glove.
Director Thomas Alfredson is not holding back the gore with The Snowman, and his handling of the film’s icy Norwegian landscape provides a great landscape for the violence and horror that is exhibited on screen. Be warned that The Snowman is not for the faint of heart and audiences can expect to find their pulses racing with this one.
The Snowman will be released in cinemas on October 20 in the US and UK and on November 30 in New Zealand and Australia.
