‘The Punisher’ arrives with brand new trailer

Frank Castle is out for revenge in the first official trailer for The Punisher….and it is glorious.

Here’s the synopsis:

Following the events of Daredevil, Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) is living off the grid and is devoting all his considerable skills and willpower to unlocking the conspiracy that lead to the deaths of his family. Hunted by the CIA, Homeland Security and the FBI, Castle will stop at nothing to take his revenge and punish those responsible.

It doesn’t get any better than this new trailer! Set to Metallica’s definitive ‘One’, Castle carves his way through a host of despicable scum and lays down some serious punishment. Jon Bernthal again proves why he was born to play this role, and while he may be pretty adept at dispatching bad guys, it appears he’ll be put through the ringer with some seriously heavy drama.

Netflix are keeping pretty tight-lipped about the impending release of The Punisher, but when it finally does release later this year you can bet that I’ll be watching!
