Inquisitive and mischievous bear Paddington is back, and this time he’s found himself in the centre of a lot of trouble in Paddington 2.
Here’s the synopsis:
Having settled into life with the Brown family, Paddington (Ben Whishaw) decides to do something special for his Aunt Lucy’s birthday and decides to buy her an antique book. But when the book is stolen and Paddington is framed for the crime, he has to use all of his ingenuity to clear his name and catch the real thief.
Ben Whishaw’s performance as Michael Bond’s beloved bear Paddington warmed the hearts of audiences everywhere back in 2014 and now Whishaw and director Paul King are returning to cinemas with an exciting new story.
The new trailer is packed out with cute and comical moments that find Paddington up to his usual hijinks. The trailer also highlights the performance of Hugh Grant as Paddington’s new nemesis, the vain and faded actor Phoenix Buchanan. But while Paddington might find himself on the wrong side of the law, his family won’t let him down and the race is on to clear Paddington and find Aunt Lucy’s special book.
Paddington 2 is sure to be all types of fun for both children and adults and will be released in cinemas on December 21.
