Michael Myers, a homicidal monster who is the definition of pure evil is ready to return to the sleepy town of Haddonfield, Illinois for one final night of terror in Halloween.
The new trailer is now here and it is a truly terrifying watch. Check it out….if you dare:
Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) comes face-to-face for one final encounter with Michael Myers, 40 years after his initial killing spree on Halloween night.
Presenting a totally new side to the Halloween mythos director David Gordon Green is going right back to the 1978 original and is directing this film as a straight up sequel. In this story his Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) is a mentally unstable survivalist who has spent a lifetime preparing for one final altercation with her brother, the homicidal force of evil named Michael Myers. Not only is Laurie armed to the teeth but she’s turned her home into a fortress that is designed to give every advantage possible.
And Michael, well he’s back to his old tricks of hunting down babysitters and his presence is unbelievably menacing and scary. I certainly jumped more than once watching this trailer and I can sense that audiences will be in for a night of pure dread when this arrives in cinemas.
If you’ve got a passion for horror then I can tell that you’re going to be in for one very spooky night when Halloween arrives in cinemas this year on October 18.
