Michael B. Jordan is sky rocking up the Hollywood A-list and he’s now set to return as Adonis ‘Donnie’ Creed in Creed 2.

Check out the explosive new trailer below:

Life has become a balancing act for Adonis Creed (Jordan). Between personal obligations and training for his next big fight, he is up against the challenge of his life. Facing an opponent with ties to his family’s past only intensifies his impending battle in the ring. Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) is there by his side through it all and, together, Rocky and Adonis will confront their shared legacy, question what is worth fighting for, and discover that nothing is more important than family.

This trailer is a quick snapshot of what is to come and focuses in on Donnie’s journey to the top and finds him embracing new responsibilities as a husband and father. But sooner or later we all have to confront our past and for Donnie this mean’s a run-in with ruthless up and coming contender Viktor Drago (Florian ‘Big Nasty’ Munteanu), the son of the infamous Ivan Drago (Dolph Lundgren) who killed his father in the ring many years ago….and with this fight there’s more on the line than just a title.

Director Steven Caple Jr. appears to have a done a terrific job following the work of Ryan Coogler and Creed 2 looks like it will address new themes that are affecting Donnie. He also focuses in on the brutal grudge match between the new generation of Creed/Drago. Drago was infamous for his ‘I must break you’ line and I’m certain that Lundgren will be focusing in on his role as an antagonist. And then there’s newcomer Florian ‘Big Nasty’ Munteanu who is an absolute beast and who will no-doubt put Jordan through the ringer this time.

History is on the line here with Creed 2 and it is sure to be a knockout when it is released in cinemas on November 29.
