M. Night Shyamalan has made a brave return to cinemas after the critical and commercial success of his twisted horror/thriller project Split which chilled audiences to the bone and offered a unique tie back to his critically lauded Unbreakable.
Now a final chapter of the Unbreakable series is coming in Glass which will join the universes of Split and Unbreakable together.
To celebrate the impending release of the new film, a brand new poster has been released and it presents audiences a twisted new take of on a group therapy session with each of the main characters.
The poster also gives us a look at a cloaked Bruce Willis who will once again return as reluctant superhero David Dunn and Samuel L. Jackson as the regal, yet sinister comic book theorist turned mass-murder Elijah Price also known as Mr. Glass. But the poster’s central figure is that of the terrifying Kevin Wendell Crumb aka. The Beast whom James McAvoy played to perfection in Split. McAvoy looks truly terrifying here and he is slab of rippling muscle and will no-doubt cast a fearsome shadow across the film.
Here’s the synopsis:
Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds David Dunn pursuing Kevin Wendell Crumb’s superhuman persona of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters while the shadowy presence of Elijah Price, going by “Mr. Glass”, emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.
Glass is one of 2019’s most intriguing cinema releases and you’ll definitely want to catch it when it arrives in cinemas on January 18, 2019.
