Get ready to roll out with ‘Mayans MC’
Today marks a very special it’s the 10th anniversary of Sons of Anarchy, the lauded crime drama that took introduced audiences to the outlaw motorcycle world and the men who who lived it and their bond of brotherhood and blood.
And now director Kurt Sutter is ready to take audiences back to this outlaw world and charts a brand new chapter of it with Mayans MC.
Set three years after the season finale of Sons of Anarchy and the death of Jackson ‘Jax’ Teller (Charlie Hunnam), Mayans MC follows the fortunes of young Mayan prospect Ezekiel ‘EZ’ Reyes (J.D. Pardo). This young man was once the pride of his family and was poised to live the American Dream, but a tragic accident robbed him of this opportunity and instead he was sent to prison and found himself within the outlaw world. Now EZ will have to find his way in this dangerous new world and will have to adapt to it’s unwritten laws if he’s to thrive and survive as an outlaw and earn his patch.
Kurt Sutter and his partner Elgin James are ready to explore a different side of the outlaw world with Mayans MC and are presenting audiences with a new setting of the border town of Santo Padre and are exploring the series Mexican-American setting and culture and all of this will lead to plenty of new and exciting developments.
Mayans MC is a bold new series to get really excited about and will premiere on SOHO and Neon on September 5.
