The first teaser for Disney’s ‘Aladdin’ is here

Get ready for to jump on a magic carpet and fly across the sands of Agrabah because the first teaser for Aladdin is here and it is absolutely incredible.

Here’s the full synopsis:

When noble Agrabahan street thief Aladdin stumbles upon a magic lamp and the Genie (Will Smith) who lives inside of it he suddenly finds himself swept up into the adventure of a lifetime.

Although it’s only a quick snapshot of what is to come director Guy Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes, Snatch, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword) is promising vast visuals here that are spot on references from the classic 1992 animated film and you can’t help but want to see more.

Along with Ritchie’s vision and a phenomenal cast including Will Smith as the Genie, Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Princess Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari as Jafar and Navid Negahban as The Sultan, Aladdin will also feature a rousing score by celebrated songwriters Pasek & Paul (La La Land, The Greatest Showman) along with featuring the return of Alan Menkin as lead composer.

Get ready for an extraordinary adventure when Aladdin arrives in cinemas next year on May 23, 2019.
