Chris Pine will forge a kingdom in ‘Outlaw King’
Chris Pine channels incredible courage as Robert The Bruce, an outlaw who rises to become a King and forge a nation in the hotly anticipated Outlaw King.

The untold, true story of Robert The Bruce (Pine) who transformed from defeated nobleman, to reluctant King, to outlaw hero over the course of an extraordinary year. Forced into battle in order to save his family, his people and his country from the oppressive English occupation of medieval Scotland, Robert seizes the Scottish crown and rallies a ragtag group of men to face off against the wrath of the world’s strongest army lead by the ferocious King Edward I (Stephen Dillane) and his volatile son, the Prince of Wales (Billy Howle).
Following on from the epic first trailer, this new look into the upcoming film from director David Mackenzie (Hell or High Water) examines Robert the Bruce’s motivations to make his claim for the throne and the extensive war that he has to fight in order to win back his homeland.
This is filmmaking on an incredibly gritty and intense scale and action fans will be in for a treat as Pine goes into battle swinging a sword and carving his way through his enemies. The ferocity of medieval combat is going to be in full view here and make no mistake to win a country and forge a nation blood must be shed and victory obtain.
