Here’s the official synopsis:
Based on a true story, Fighting With My Family follows reformed gangster Ricky (Nick Frost), wife Julia (Lena Headey), daughter Paige (Florence Pugh) and son Zak (Jack Lowden) as they make a living wrestling together in tiny venues. When Paige and Zak get the opportunity to try out for WWE, the family grabs a once-in-a-lifetime chance to turn their wildest dreams into a dazzling future. However, brother and sister quickly discover that to become superstars, both their talent and their relationship will be put to the test.
Straight off the bat, Fighting With My Family looks like one hell of an awesome movie and its underdog story mashed with some perfectly timed comedy will have you cheering and laughing in equal measure. Rising star Florence Pugh who is hot off graet work in Outlaw King and The Little Drummer Girl again shows why she is one of the most in-demand young actresses in the world and paired with the delightful combo of Nick Frost and Lena Headey, who will surely steal the movie together, you can bet that Fighting With My Family will really deliver.
Add to this the presence of the WWE legend and blockbuster superstar Dwayne Johnson, who stars as himself and becomes an unexpected mentor to Paige and you have the trappings of a truly exciting film.
