Chloë Grace Moretz is about to get a lesson in what it means to be afraid in the terrifying new horror thriller Greta…and this one will really creep you out.
Check out the frightening new trailer below:
Frances (Chloë Grace Moretz), a young New York City-based waitress, is able to return a handbag to a middle-aged French widow named Greta (Isabelle Huppert) and the two begin to get to know each other from time to time. But when Frances discovers similar handbags in Greta’s cupboard and a note with her name and address on it, she is suddenly thrown into the world of obsession and desire as Greta’s stalking puts her life and the lives of others in danger.
Director Neil Jordan has a history with the horror genre with classic works such as Interview With A Vampire and The Company of Wolves, but Greta looks like an all-together new direction for the director….and a frightening one at that. Jordan is ready to take his audience to a very extreme place with this new film, and the intense chills that he teases the audience with have the air of the perfect Hitchcockian menace.
Along with his creepy premise, Jordan also has a great cast to work with thanks to the presence of Chloë Grace Moretz and Isabelle Huppert, with Huppert really bringing out the crazy and going to a totally obsessive and mad place that has some terrifying consequences.
Get ready for some terrifying thrills next year when Greta arrives in cinemas o February 28.
