‘Hobbs & Shaw’ teased ahead of full trailer
Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham are ready to kick things into high gear with the upcoming Fast & Furious spin-off Fast & Furious presents: Hobbs & Shaw which will find these completely opposite antiheroes forced to join forces to take down their most lethal threat yet.
A trailer teaser arrived by the film’s official Instagram channel to update fans on the upcoming trailer, which will be released later this week and gave a subtle nod to each of their very own unique style.
Where Johnson is bringing his hard-charging American muscle flavour to the screen where its all about size and strength as Luke Hobbs, while Statham will be channeling his sleek refined cool as former super spy mercenary Deckard Shaw.
Guaranteed to be packed out with explosive action and starring an excellent supporting cast including the likes of Vanessa Kirby as Shaw’s younger sister and rogue MI6 operative Hattie Shaw, Eiza Gonzalez as the mysterious Madam M and Idris Elba as the dangerous terrorist leader Brixton who has a serious axe to grind with Hobbs and Shaw.
Production has finally wrapped and both Johnson and Statham have been teasing fans with what awaits them in Hobbs & Shaw. For Johnson the film’s a huge deal because we’re actually going to get a look into Hobbs’ background and Polynesian heritage in Western Samoa and the star even offered up a look at his family, the Shaw Brothers, who run a custom garage and who are packed out by Kiwi acting legend Cliff Curtis, WWE Superstar Roman Reigns, actor John Tui and football player Josh Mauga.
Brace yourselves for all kinds of action when Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw arrives in cinemas on August 1.
